Govt decision on Bayyaram mines not revenge on Jagan: Cong

Hyderabad, July 25: The Congress on Saturday denied that its action over the Bayyaram Mines issue was part of its revenge on Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy for going ahead with the Odarpu Yatra despite told not to.

Talking to media persons, PCC spokesperson Tulasi Reddy said that the conspiracy theories linking the government’s decision on Bayyaram Mines to a purported revenge on Mr Jaganmohan Reddy were farfetched.

He said that the government’s decision on the Bayyaram Mines could not have any effect on Mr Jaganmohan Reddy since his brother-in-law Brother Anil Kumar was not a signatory to the lease agreement with the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation.

Mr Tulasi Reddy said that the Anil Kumar whose signatures were affixed on the APMDC agreement was a ‘J Anil Kumar’ while Mr Jaganmohan Reddy’s brother-in-law is ‘M Anil Kumar.’ This proved that they are to different persons, Mr Tulasi Reddy clarified.
