Govt. blamed for escaping educational development

Hyderabad, September 09: Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, President of TDP went to the agitation camp of United Teachers’ Forum at Indira Park and expressed his solidarity to the teachers. Addressing the dharna programme of the agitating teachers, he said that during the regime of TDP regime, education was given importance and 1.5 lakh teachers were appointed in a period of 9 years.

The present Congress Govt. is behaving in a non-serious manner and it is showing no interest for education. The State Govt. in its seven years tenure has appointed only 30 thousand teachers whereas more than one lakh posts are vacant. He criticized the Govt. that the agitation of the teachers was started three days back but there is no reaction from Govt’s side. Govt is making only verbal promises. Mr. Naidu said that the Govt. has failed in providing basic amenities in schools.
