Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today assured to increase the profit share for the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) employees to 25 per cent from the existing 16 per cent after discussing with the SCCL management.
Talking to reporters at the State Secretariat, TRS MLA T Harish Rao, said the delegation appealed to the Chief Minister to increase the share of profit and the Chief Minister had responded positively to it.
The Chief Minister assured to look into it, he said adding he also urged the Chief Minister to prevail upon the management of Singareni Collieries to waive the advance Rs 25,000 given during the general strike of Telangana employees as production of coal had now increased.
He also appealed to the Chief Minister to establish a medical college in the Singareni Collieries apart from constituting a coordination committee for finding ways and means for the same. UNI
