Govt. of A.P. wants recruitments in Minorities Institutions

Govt. of A.P. has sought information form Govt. of Telangana about the bifurcation of Minorities Institutions. It is reported that Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu has instructed Minorities Welfare Minister Dr. P. Raghunath Reddy to coordinate with Govt. of Telangana to ensure the recruitments in Minorities institutions like Minorities Finance Corporation, Urdu Academy, Hajj Committee, Minorities Commission and Wakf Board. Govt. has instructed incharge secretary of Minorities Welfare Mr. Shaik Mohammed Iqbal to contact Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, Special Secretary of Minorities Welfare, Govt. of Telangana to ensure speedy bifurcation of Minorities Institutions. Hajj Committee has been bifurcated but other institutions have to be separated. Govt. of A.P. is considering formation of Hajj Committee for A.P. However for the Hajj season of 2015, the old hajj committee will make arrangements for the hajj pilgrims of A.P. State also.

It is reported that Minority leaders of TDP have been making representations continuously for filling up the posts in minorities institutions. The files pertaining to Minorities Finance Corporation, Urdu Academy and Wakf Board are pending with Govt. of A.P. For bifurcation of Wakf Board the consent of Central Wakf Council is necessary. Officials of both the State will make a representation to the center in this regard. After the completion of bifurcation process, Govt. of A.P. will nominate chairman of Minorities Finance Corporation and its Directors.
