Governor ESL Narasimhan on Sunday said that the State government would stand by the ‘Neelam’ cyclone victims in the State. He assured the distressed farmers not to get disheartened as the government would collect details of the damaged crops in the cyclone and would provide adequate compensation to them.
A large number of VIPs, officials and politicians called on Narasimhan on Sunday and greeted him on the occasion of his 87th birthday. Stating that he needed blessings of all the people in the State, the Governor wished the people happiness and prosperity. (NSS)
