Govt aims for inclusive growth: Jagadish Reddy

Minister for Power, G Jagadish Reddy today said that the State Government is working for the cause of Dalits, Tribals, deprived and oppressed classes. The minister was participating in  a state level review meeting on the welfare of Dalits, Tribals and deprived sections at Damodaram Sanjeevaiah Sankshema Bhavan here along with SC Corporation Chairman P Ravi and others.

Speaking on the occasion Jagadish Reddy claimed that it is only the Telangana State which was  giving priority to welfare sector in the country. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is determined for the all round development and inclusive growth which is possible through empowering these classes financially and socially. Besides giving Rs 75,000 financial assistance to the poor girls towards marriage through Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak,  the government is spending a whopping Rs 36000 crore for providing welfare benefits to about 40 lakh people,  he said. ‘Our government is implementing various schemes that are not mentioned in the election manifesto and the credit goes to the chief minister’ he stated. With a focus on equal justice and social inclusion,  the TRS Government is offering the best quality education to all sections of people through residential schools with English medium. The Chief Minister is for providing welfare benefits to all the eligible poor, Dalits, Tribals and oppressed classes, Jagadish Reddy said. He  also stated that ultimate aim of KCR is to see smiles on the faces of these deprived classes by getting them the fruits of labour(NSS).
