Govindacharya to Gadkari: ‘Mind your tongue’

New Delhi, April 12: In a strongly worded letter to BJP President Nitin Gadkari, former party ideologue K N Govindacharya has asked him to “mind his tongue” and not indulge in speculation about his return to the party.

Virtually ruling out his re-entry into the BJP, Govindacharya, who quit the party in 2003, said, “Keeping my lack of interest in returning to the party-fold in mind, you and your office-bearers should stop making comments.”

He asked the BJP chief to ensure that he was not dragged into internal squabbles and factional fights of the organisation.

Govindacharya’s letter came in response to Gadkari’s statements in an interview to a Hindi daily about possibilities of his return to the BJP.

“You and your party office-bearers should have thought about my seniority before giving a statement or an interview,” he said asking them to “mind your tongue”.
