Hyderabad: Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan expressed his “deep sense of sorrow” on the tragic, untimely and unfortunate demise of former minister and former Rajya Sabha Member and well-known Tollywood Actor Nandamuri Harikrishna in a car accident today.
In a message after hearing the tragic news, the Governor expressed his deep sense of sorrow on the tragedy and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of his family.
KCR, Laxman, Pawan condole death
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao expressed sorrow at the untimely death of Nadamuri Harikrishna in a road accident near Nalgonda this morning. In a message to the members of the bereaved family, the Chief Minister recalled Harikrishna’s services in politics and in the field of cinema.
Telangana State BJP president Dr K Laxman and former Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya expressed their grief on the demise of Nandmuri Harikrishna.
In a condolence message, Laxman said it was a shocking incident for the people of the two Telugu States. Harikrishna was a well-known personality, who steered the “Chatanya Ratham” of late NTR during 1983 election campaigning, the BJP chief said.
In a separate condolence message, the former Union minister Dattaraya said, “Harikrishna used to bring to my notice about the people’s problems when I was Union minister and he worked for lasting solutions. He even visited my house and consoled me when my son died”, Dattatraya said. Harikrishna’s death is a colossal loss to the cine industry, Dattareya said.
BJP floor leader G Kishan Reddy expressed his grief at Harikrishna’s untimely death. Harikrishna mesmerised people with his acting talent and was also a sincere and a committed leader in politics. Harikrishna’s death is an irreparable loss to Telugu people, he said.
“My Prayers Are With the Bereaved Family”, YS Jagan, YSR Congress Party chief, was shocked to hear the news of Nandamuri Harikrishna’s death. Offering his deepest condolences to the members of NTR family, he said his prayers are with the family members.
“News of former Rajya Sabha member, former film actor Nandamuri Harikrishna’s sudden demise has saddened me. After hearing the news of the incident, we prayed for his speedy recovery, but were shocked to hear the news of his demise. May his soul rest in peace. His welfare works in film industry and in political life will always be remembered. My deepest condolences to Harikrishna’s family. In this hour of grief, may God give all the strength to the family members. I extend my deepest condolences on behalf of Jana Sena supporters. With due respect to sudden demise of Hari Krishna, birth anniversary celebrations of Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy and important party programs have been cancelled at the party office”, Pawan Kalyan said.
