(Siasat News)Mr. E.S.L. Narasimhan, Governor of A.P. while addressing the guests who came to Raj Bhavan at his invitation for Iftaar Party, told them to pray to god to protect all of us. He further told that Ramzan is pious month. When the Muslims break fast after fasting the whole day, they get new life.
Governor began his address in Urdu by saying “Assalamu Alaikum” and said that I start in the name of Allah (SWT) who is merciful and beneficent. The governor told that the invitees that there are only one or two days let for Ramzan. He greeted that Muslims for Eidul Fitr in advance. He met the invitees individually and thanked them. He ended his speech by saying “May God protect us”. Those who attended Iftaar Party include: Mr. Mr. N.Manohar, Speaker of Assembly; Dr. A.Chakrapani, Chairman of Legislative Council; Justice Ghulam Mohammed (Rtd Judge of High Court), Mr. P.Satyanarayana, Mr. Syed Mohhammed Ahmedullah, Mr. K.Jana Reddy, Mr. Q.Lakshmaiah, Ms. G.Aruna Kumari, Mr. G.Srinivasa Rao (Ministers) Mr. Chiranjeevi M.P, Mr. Mahmood Safari, Counsul General of Iran in Hyderabad, Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbeer, Ex-Minister, Mr. Abid Rasool Khan, General Secretary, Congress, Maulana Syed Ghulam Azal Biyabani, Chairman Wakf Board and many dignitaries. Mr. Ashok Kumar, Secretary to Governor and Mr. Krishnannd, Press Secretary to Governor welcomed the guests. Mr. Mahmood Hussain recited Quranic verses. Maulana Arif Mohiuddin explained the significance of Ramazan. Mr. Shujaath Ali Shafee Dy. Director of Doordarshan conducted the meeting.
