Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Thursday greeted the people on the occasion of Ugadi festival.
“On this happy and auspicious occasion of Ugadi, the Telugu New Year Day, I extend my warmest greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and all the Telugu speaking people world over. Ugadi is a festival of joy, hope and brings with it new cheer and expectation for a brighter tomorrow,” the Governor said in his message.
The Governor expressed confidence that the Durmukhi Nama Samvastsaram would usher in peace, prosperity, harmony and happiness to all the people and sections of society for a tranquil and fulfilling New Year. (INN)
