Hyderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan has called upon the youth to play key role in the protection of nation. He asked them to come forward to protect the nation taking the spirit from the martyrs, who laid their lives for the sake of the nation.
The Governor, along with DGP Anurag Sharma inaugurated a run conducted in memory of Police Martyrs at Necklace Road here on Sunday morning. Anurag Sharma greeted the police participated in the run. The running competition conducted in 10K, 5K and 2K sections. The run has gone through NTR Marg, Tank Bund and about 5000 participated in the competition.
City Police Commissioner M Mahender Reddy, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagavath, She Team Additional Commissioner of Police Swathi Lakra and several other officials participated in the program. (NSS)
