Governor Converted Raj Bhavan Into Gandhi Bhavan: TDP

Alleging that Raj Bhavan was converted into Gandhi Bhavan (State Congress headquarters), TDP senior leader Revanth Reddy has claimed that Governor ESL Narasimhan has not given an appointment when they went to Raj Bhavan to complain against the decision of the Kiran Kumar Reddy government on the Dharmana Prasada Rao’s issue.

Speaking to mediapersons in the TDP headquarters NTR Bhavan here on Tuesday, Revanth Reddy alleged that the State and Union governments were trying to protect YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy from the criminal cases and towards that end, the State cabinet had taken a decision not to accord permission to the CBI to interrogate the minister, who was made an accused in the VANPIC case.

The TDP leader also demanded that the Governor use his constitutional powers and order action against the tainted minister. He also asked as to why the Governor was not responding to the letter written by Union minister Kishore Chandra Deo, who wanted the government to protect the rights of the tribals in the State.

Asserting that TRS chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao would not fetch Telangana State, another TDP leader Mothkupalli Narsimhulu has alleged that innocent students were committing suicides on hearing the provocative speeches of KCR on Telangana demand. (NSS)
