Governor, CM extend greetings to Christians

Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao in separate messages extended greetings to the members of Christian fraternity and the people of both the States on the occasion of Christmas.

In a message, the Governor said, “Christmas is a time of joyous remembrance of Jesus Christ. It is also an occasion to renew the bonds of love, tolerance and compassion which Jesus taught the world. The life of Jesus Christ is a source of inspiration to us to lead our lives with virtue coupled with faith. On this occasion, I join with my Christian brethren and sisters to pray for peace and harmony in the world. I wish all a Happy and Merry Christmas”, he added.

In another message, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today conveyed his Christmas greetings to the people of the State. “The love and compassion of Lord Jesus, which filled happiness among the human-beings should become an ideal for the people”, he said and desired that people should celebrate Christmas with happiness and joy
