Rakshabandhan had a special touch when a large number of students flocked Raj Bhavan and tied rakhis to the Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan here today.
The Governor expressed his pleasure over little girls tying rakhis. He also wished the people of the state on the occassion.
Mr Narasimhan said people should give up being selfish and think that everyone is equal.
Minister Sunita Reddy, Former GHMC Mayor Karthika Reddy, school students and activists tied ‘rakhis’ to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at his camp office, to mark the occassion. Home Minister P Sabita Indira Reddy also tied rakhi to Chief Minister at the Secretariat. The Chief Minister also wished the people of the state on the occasion of raksha bandhan.
