The Governor ESL Narasimahn today celebrated his birthday at Raj Bhavan as ministers and leaders from two Telugu States flocked to greet him on the occasion. Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishna Murthy, Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy, Kamineni Srinivas and others greeted Narasimhan.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that he tries to remain content and used to avoid criticism. He was happy to find two chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu sharing the same dais of Amaravathi foundation program. In a same way, they must go together to develop by sorting out the issues through debates, the governor stated. Narasimhan also said that he is discharging duties with complete honest and commitment. He also stated that Election Commission will look into the issue of removal of voters in GHMC as it does not come under his purview. The Governor hoped that the appointment of Vice Chancellors for universities will be completed in a smooth way. He also extended greetings to people of two Telugu states for Deepavali festival. (NSS)
