Governor E S L Narasimhan called on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in the national capital on Friday.
During his 40-minute long meeting with Rajnath Singh, the Governor has reportedly briefed him about the situation in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh State in connection with the ‘Cash for Vote’ case, phone tapping allegations and invocation of Section 8 of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act. He apparently informed the Home Minister that Law and Order situation in Hyderabad was completely under control.
Union Home Secretary LC Goyal and Joint Secretary Alok Kumar were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, Narasimhan discussed the latest situation in the Telugu States with Goyal and Alok Kumar. (INN)
