Governor briefs Chidambaram over AP’s latest situation

Governor E S L Narasimhan stated that he has not presented any report to the Centre over the situation in the State.

Talking to media persons after emerging out of meeting with Union Home Minister P Chidambaram on Monday, the Governor said that he had discussed the latest political situation with the Home Minister. However, he said that he has not submitted any report to Chidambaram over the situation in the State.

Narasimhan said that he had informed about the dry spell in the some of parts of State and row over the increase in seats in medical college. He said that the government has to focus on alternative crops due to continuation of dry spell.

Narasimhan said that he would meet President Prathibha Patil as she was demitting office this month.
