Governor ESL Narasimhan on Wednesday issued orders appointing Vice-Chancellors to three universities in the State.
According to Raj Bhavan release, the Governor appointed Prof Vunnam Venkaiah as the Vice-Chancellor of Krishna University, Machilipatnam. Presently he is the Professor of Management with the BR Ambedkar Open University.
Prof K Viyyanna Rao, Professor of Commerce and Business Administration, University College of Arts, Commerce & Law, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur.
Likewise, Prof K.Veera Reddy, retired Professor of Osmania University has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Satavahana University, Karimnagar.
These vacancies have been lying vacant for the last several months. The Governor is also likely to appoint Vice-Chancellors for seven more universities. (INN)
