Hyderabad, February 10: Governor ESL Narasimhan on Wednesday stated that the Population enumeration is a gigantic exercise of National importance and appealed to all the people of the State to wholeheartedly support and help provide truthful information and cooperate with the enumerators.
Earlier, Mr Narasimhan provided his personal information to the enumerators who have visited him at Raj Bhavan.
AP Census Operations DirectorYV Anuradha, Commissioner, GHMC Sri Sameer Sharma and others were present when the Governor provided the information.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said “to fill up all the columns of 29 items in the census format would take about 10 minutes only”, and he appealed to the citizens to spare that time.
This information is most important for the next 10 years for our National Planning, for taking many policy decisions.
Mr Narasimhan called on the citizens to make the Census 2011 a success in the State.
