Governments Neglected Intelligence Warnings: Babu

The TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu has charged both the state and central governments of grossly neglecting warnings from the Intelligence agencies. He demanded stern steps to ensure non-recurrence of such incidents in the future.

Talking to the media after visiting the blast site in Dilsukhnagar, Naidu condemned blasts calling it a heinous act. He said the blasts were triggered off by the terrorists as per a perfectly laid out plan. He said it was atrocious that the central and state governments were taking warnings about such attacks lightly. He said the state government failed to act even after the centre warned about such an eventuality. He squarely blamed the state government’s negligence for the blasts. He has demanded exgratia of Rs. 10 lakh to each of the victims’ families.

Naidu who reached Hyderabad from Guntur where he was continuing his ‘Vastunnaa Meekosam’ pada yatra, visited the Omni hospital after a visit to the blast site. He enquired of the doctors about the condition of the injured. He requested the doctors to provide best medical aid possible to the victims. (NSS)
