Editor Siasat Mr. Zahed Ali Khan told that formation of a state level department is imperative for resolving the problems faced by Indians residing in foreign countries. The body must be formed under the direct supervision of an official holding collector or deputy collector rank. Delivering his presidential speech during a meeting held by Minority Development Forum at Siasat Golden Jubilee Hall, a propos Nitaqat police of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Zahed Ali Khan revealed that state residents are on number two position in terms of NRIs residing in Saudi Arabia, despite that the government has no strategy regarding Nonresident Hyderabadis. He stressed for the need of government’s serious measures for resolving the problems faced by Hyderabadis employed in Saudi Arabia. He also expressed concern over the future of nearly 5 lakh Hyderabadi’s presently residing in Saudi Arabia, if they are sent back to India.
Mr. K N Wasif threw light on Nitaqat law. He advised youth heading for gulf countries not to opt for Azad visa and women to avoid khudama visa.
