‘Government ruined TTD’

Hyderabad, June 20: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that the State Government had totally ruined the administration of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

Addressing a gathering after inducting Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) workers from Siddipet Assembly segment into the party, Naidu said that the State Government “could even sell the god in Tirumala”.

He said that it was on account of the “countless sins” of the State Government that the Rajagopurams of various temples in the State were collapsing. On the welfare front, Chandrababu Naidu criticised the Congress Government for failing to keep its promise of distributing 30 kg of rice to each BPL family and providing nine hours of power to the tillers.

He also demanded that the UPA Government tender an apology to the people on the Bhopal gas tragedy.

Earlier, addressing a press conference at NTR Bhavan, TDP leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu blamed the State Government for the “happenings in the TTD”.
