The chief minister expressed his happiness over planting of 24 lakh saplings on a single day on July 16.

He complemented the officials who took part in this programme. He said the success could be attributed to the campaign on the need to grow trees and the awareness being created on the ‘Nava Vana Udyamam.’

Rosaiah particularly complemented officials of West Godavari district for planting 3.5 lakh saplings on a single day.

He observed that the response was poor in Rangareddy, Nalgonda and Prakasam districts.
