Hyderabad, June 19: Principals of four government junior colleges in the district were placed under suspension following their colleges obtaining poor pass percentage, of below 15 per cent.
It is said that this is for the first time in the history of the district that the principals of colleges were suspended, making them responsible for poor results. Principals placed under suspension include Jayanna of Government Junior College, Achempet and S.Vijaya Devi, principal of Government Junior College Kodangal where only 10 per cent of the students passed.
While Abdul Huq and Sitaramulu, principals of Government Junior College at Palem and Maldakal respectively, were suspended for pass percentage of 12 per cent.
