Government encouraging vulgarity: Jama’at

Ganderbal, June 28: The Naib Ameer-e-Jama’at, Nazir Ahmad Raina today said the government was allegedly encouraging vulgarity.

Addressing near about 14,000 people who attended the annual Ijtima (convention) of Jama’at-e-Islami at Margund Kangan, he said the Islam was a complete way of life.

The party general secretary, Dr Fayaz Hamid said Jama’at’s stand on Kashmir issue had never changed. “It should be solved either by holding plebiscite or implementing the UN resolutions.”

He said the troops had been allegedly committing rights violations across the Kashmir. “From Machil to Srinagar there are hundreds of examples of human rights violation committed by forces and inquires ordered are mere an eye wash to befool the people.”
