Hyderabad, August 02: Former Home Minister T Devender Goud’s homecoming is creating ripples both in Praja Rajyam and Telugu Desam parties. The PRP leadership was shocked over the exit of Goud, which was imminent within a week.
On the other, the TDP was facing dissent from several leaders within the party over the re-entry of Goud.
On his part, Goud today called on PRP chief Chiranjeevi and reportedly explained the reasons for leaving the party.
However, Goud told reporters later that he did not tender his resignation to PRP so far. “I have personal respect for Chiranjeevi, who took suggestions from me on all key issues,’’ he said and added that he would take a decision on his political future in the next four days after consulting his followers.
Meanwhile, several TDP leaders including Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Aravind Kumar Goud, known for thier differences with Devender Goud, wanted the party leadership not to give undue importance to Devender Goud.
Talasani met chandrababu here today and reportedly set a condition that a public apology be sought from Goud for making critical remarks against the party before launching his own outfit Nava Telangana Party, if he were to be re-admitted into the TDP.
