Google tracks your every single movement, researchers confirms

Computer-science researchers at Princeton confirmed that Google services on Android devices and iPhones store your location data even though you have set your privacy settings to prevent your location to be tracked.

Despite you deny permission for accessing your location, Google knows where you are going and it records your movements. An Associated Press investigation found this.

Many Google services on Android devices and iPhones store your location data even if you’ve used privacy settings that say they will prevent it from doing so. Storing your minute-by-minute travel history.

Google says that it will prevent the company from remembering where you’ve been. Google’s support page on the subject says that: “You can turn off Location History at any time. With Location History off, the places you go are no longer stored.” But that’s not the case. Even with Location History paused, some Google apps automatically store time-stamped location data without asking.
