New Delhi: Google has paid tribute to former Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam, who recently died due to a stroke while giving a speech in Shilong, by marking a black ribbon on its home page.
The ribbon appears below the Google search bar and says “In memory of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam” when the cursor is placed upon it.
Kalam, who was also famously called as ‘Missile Man’, served as the 11th Indian President from 2002 to 2007 and was involved in the development of India’s civilian space program and military missile program. (ANI)
