Google Doodle celebrates start of Chinese Year of the Horse

Google is reportedly celebrating the Chinese New Year that begins today with its latest doodle.

The doodle features an image of a girl on a rocking horse and a boy holding fire crackers and lanterns to mark the dawn of the Year of the Horse.

According to the Daily Express, the Chinese New Year of the Horse is said to bring riches and prosperity and is celebrated by more than a billion people around the globe.

The Year of the Horse, which replaces the Year of the Snake, last fell in 2002.

As per the Chinese calendar, there are 12 different animal years in the Chinese zodiac, each coming round every 12 years and each animal gives a clue to the person’s personality and love life born in that year, the report added. (ANI)
