New Delhi: Google is paying its tribute to the legendry painter Maqbool Fida Husain on his 100th birth anniversary by dedicating today’s doodle to the artist.
The doodle shows the modern Indian painter of international acclaim holding a brush in his hands with a colourful background, along with geometrical circles that are used to represent “Google.”
Popularly called the ‘Picasso of India,’ the artist, who was also known as a printmaker, photographer and filmmaker, passed away on June 9, 2011 in London. (ANI)
