Goods worth over Rs 5 crores traded between PoK and J&K

Poonch, April 07: Goods worth over Rs 5 crores were traded between Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Jammu and Kashmir at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch district today, officials said.

25 trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger in Poonch district to PoK today, they said.

The consignments, worth Rs 1.89 crore, included bags of coconut, dry chillies, banana and herbs.

Similarly, 30 trucks carrying bags of green gram, worth 3.18 crores, crossed to this side, they said.

Officials from both the sides monitored transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day, they added.
