On Tuesday ,Vigilance and Enforcement Officials conducted a surprise raid in a godown located in Chanrayangutta, old city .
The godown stored a huge quantities of illegal commodities meant for Public Distribution System(PDS).
The stored commodities were being transferred to Karnataka from an illegally run godown, said V & E officer Soni Bala Devi.
The godown were owned by Mohammed Burhan and few other and were taken in police custody.
The seized commodities includes 534 rice bags, 151 wheat bags, 19 bags of sugar (each bag weigh 50 kilograms) and a lorry to shifts the commodities illegally , said the V & E Officers.
