Good News for Secretariat employees of both states

A good news to many Secretariat employees of both states since the Telangana government is now giving consideration to bring back all T-staffers appointed to the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat post bifurcation.

In the same way those AP employees who, by some twist of fate, were assigned to the T Secretariat can now go back to their `native’ state government office.

This was announced on Tuesday by M Narender Rao, the Telangana Secretariat Employees’ Association president.

Rao, speaking to the media said that the Telangana chief secretary, Rajeev Sharma, held a meeting with members of all employees’ associations, post the Kamalanathan committee meeting on Monday, and agreed to consider filling the vacancies in the T Secretariat that have arisen on and after June 2 __ the official date of bifurcation of undivided Andhra Pradesh.

Rao further said that the chief secretary had also assured to incorporate these changes in the guidelines and seek consent from the department of personnel and training, in this regard.
Once approved, the move will held employees go back to their Secretariats of choice and put an end to the dissatisfaction among staffers.

“With this about 110 Andhra employees allocated to Telangana Secretariat will be sent back and nearly 500 Telangana employees who have been allocated to AP can be accommodated in Telangana, without creating any supernumerary posts,“ Rao said.
