Gone Prakash opposes miniter post for Yashki

Hyderabad, January 19: Describing the Nizamabad MP Mr Madhu Yashki Goud as a deceptive person, the former APSRTC Chairman Mr Gone Prakash Rao has urged the UPA government not to induct the former as Minister in Union Council of Ministers. He said that making Mr Yashki as Minister would be harmful to nation’s security as he was involved in human trafficking case.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Mr Gone alleged that the Centre was trying to dilute the Telangana movement by offering minister posts to the Telangana MPs. He said that Mr Madhu Yashki, who was supposed to participate in the MPs meeting held at Bhongir MP, Mr Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy’s residence here on Monday, went to Delhi to lobby for the minister post. He alleged that Mr Yashki sent his family members to foreign countries with ‘fake certificates’. The then City Police Commissioner Mr Prasada Rao had not registered a case against Mr Yashki colluding with the latter, he said and added that the State government itself has given a report saying that Mr Yashki had sent his family members with fake certificates.

Mr Gone said that he was sending copies of all the concerned fake certificates to the Prime Minister and the Intelligence Bureau and added that it would be shameful if Mr Yashki was inducted in the Union Ministry.
