New Delhi: Gold prices rose 0.58 per cent to Rs 27,383 per 10 grams in futures trade today after speculators widened their bets, taking positive cues from global markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in far-month April was up by Rs 157, or 0.58 per cent, to Rs 27,383 per 10 grams, in a business turnover of 47 lots.
The metal for delivery in February moved up by Rs 138, or 0.51 per cent, to Rs 27,438 per 10 grams, in a turnover of 637 lots.
Market analysts said rise in the precious metal in global markets, influenced gold prices at futures trade here.
Meanwhile, gold climbed as much as 0.67 per cent to USD 1,149.30 an ounce in Singapore today.
