Hyderabad: Telangana government is hosting dinner for the participants of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017, at Golconda Fort. Arrangements are at brisk pace. Golconda will remain close for public from Tuesday.
An anti-mosquito drive has been launched at Golconda Fort ahead of the dinner to make it mosquito free for Ivanka Trump. The GHMC officials have launched an anti-mosquito operation at the fort and also near the surroundings. Locals say that the anti-mosquito drive is unprecedented.
As reported by TOI, From the past one week, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s (GHMC) Entomology Wing has been spraying herbal liquids and chemicals on the walls of Golconda Fort. They took up fogging inside and around the historic fort. Fogging was taken up in the surrounding residential areas too.
On the first day of the summit, Ivanka Trump and other foreign delegates will have dinner in Falaknuma Palace while on the second day of the event dinner will be arranged at Golconda Fort. The problem here is not security but the mosquitoes that breed in an around Golconda Fort.
About 1,500 Indian and foreign delegates, who are attending the Global Economic Summit, will have dinner at Golconda Fort.
