The water level in Godavari is alarmingly rising and it reached 51.04 feet level on Tuesday morning.
If the water level rises to 53 feet, a third warning alert will be announced. Khammam district officials have deployed four boats and a half a dozen swimmers along the banks.
Second level warning alert was already issued at Bhadrachalam and first warning alert was issued at Dhavaleshwaram barrage on Tuesday morning. Vagedu, Charla, Venkatapuram, Turubaka and Regupalli villages have been submerged.
