AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said the interlinking of Godavari and Krishna rivers is a historic moment in the history of Andhra Pradesh State. The Chief Minister visited Pattiseema project and performed puja for Pump house.
Speaking to media on the occasion, Chandrababu said, “It was my aim to make Rayalaseema a drought-free region by using waste Godavari water and interlinking of two rivers has facilitated diversion of water from Godavari to Krishna river. To achieve this aim, ministers and officials have worked day and night relentlessly”, he added. (NSS)
