God is there – Credit goes to Jagan Only: Sharmila

Sharmila, sister of YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, here on Friday said that the outcome of the June 12 by-elections has clearly proved that there is God and He is observing everything.

The late chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s daughter, accompanied by her mother Y S Vijayalakshmi, called on Jaganmohan Reddy at Chanchalguda Jail today.
Speaking to media persons after “Mulakhat” with Jagan, Sharmila expressed happiness over the YSRC sweeping the by-polls. She also said that her brother looked very happy and expressed his happiness over the election results.

Sharmila said that today’s by-elections results also revealed that the people of the State strongly believed that her father’s (late YSR) name was wrongly included in the FIR by the CBI in the Jagan’s disproportionate assets case and Jagan was unjustly put behind bars. She also said that the election results have clearly proved that Jaganmohan Reddy was innocent. The people also expressed their confidence in Jagan’s leadership and were yearning for “Rajanna Rajyam”, she added.
Stating that Jagan floated YSRC and toiled for strengthening it in the last two years, Sharmila said that full credit goes to her brother for the party’s feat in the battle of the ballot. She said that Jagan had asked about the performance of Konda Surekha, Prasada Raju and others. Jagan reportedly said that all the YSRC candidates were important to him, irrespective of their victory margins as they stood by him and the farmers in difficult times. She also said that the people had voted for the YSRC with vengeance against the ruling party as there was no democracy in the State under the Congress government.

When mediapersons said that the people were claiming that “their” tears yielded votes for the YSRC, Sharmila exuded confidence that Jagan would come out of jail at the earliest as the God was watching everything and the God Himself would bring Jagan out of the jail. She described YSRC landslide in the by-elections as a referendum. She also exuded confidence that YSRC would repeat the show in 2014 general elections and Jagan would form “Rajanna Rahyam”.

Speaking to media persons later, YSRC honorary president Y S Vijayalakshmi described her party’s landslide as the victory of the people of the State. Today’s by-poll results are God-willed, she said, adding that the results also proved very clear that the people of the State did not forget late YSR and blessed Jaganmohan Reddy. She also said that people believed that Jagan would lead them like his father.
