Panaji: Police on Saturday arrested three persons and seized over Rs. 50,000 in two separate gambling raids.
“Crime Branch Goa has arrested 3 persons and recovered more than 52 thousand rupees,” said Superintendent of Police (SP) Pankaj Singh.
The raids were conducted at Amona Quepem and Salcete area, said Singh.
“The accused, identified as Rajendra, Munesh, and Badshah Sayyad, have been taken into custody and case registered against them,” he added.
Further investigation in the incident is underway.
