Hyderabad, November 27: Union Health Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad instructed Director Salar Jung Museum K Nagendar Reddy to write the details of the antiques in Urdu too. He expressed surprise that the antiques in the museum had been collected by the personality whose language was Urdu but unfortunately his language has been neglected and the details have been written in English, Hindi and Telugu. He said ‘Salar Jung museum is an asset of Muslims and their language is neglected by the museum authorities.
Director Salar Jung Museum assured him that he would complete the work within two months and the work of writing the details in Urdu has been started.
During his visit to museum former Minority Welfare Minister Mr. Mohammad Ali Shabbir and former Health Minister Mr. D Nagendar were also along with him.
Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad jotted down his comments in museum’s visitors’ book in Urdu and wrote that Urdu being neglected in the museum he is purposely writing the comments in Urdu so that the authorities should realize it.
