Hyderabad: GMR led Hyderabad International Airport has introduced an easy and user-friendly parking system to minimize vehicle wait time at the parking exits in the airport under it’s signature ‘Passenger is Prime’ Programme, which seeks to continuously enhance the passenger experience at the airport.
The new parking system is aimed at making movement through the car park easy and free-flowing for both incoming as well as outgoing traffic. As part of the new parking mechanism, eight standalone Pay Booths located across various points in the car park area will facilitate easy payment of parking fees and provide a hassle-free exit by simply scanning the payment receipt.
The system has come into effect from 03 October and will be available round the clock. The on-ground support staff will be deployed at the parking area to assist and guide users with the transition to a new parking system.
Here is a quick guide to using the new system that will come into place:
- Collect parking slip at the entrance
- Pay parking fee at any one of the ‘Pay Booths’ available at all parking zones and collect your receipt
- Proceed to ‘Parking Exit’ Point
- Flash the receipt to the scanner at the ‘Exit’ point
- Exit the Parking area
