GMC inks pact for stray dogs sterilisation

Gurgaon, August 26: The Gurgaon Municipal Corporation has signed an agreement with two NGOs for sterilizing stray dogs in Gurgaon.

This was stated by the Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Khullar in a meeting with RWAs , where as per the agreement NGOs Friendicoes would sterilise 400 stray dogs while PFA would sterilise 300 dogs in a month.

Khullar said that MCG was constructing a Gaushala in six acres of land at village Karterpuri, which is likely to be completed by 1st January 2010. After this, all stray cattle would be put up in the Gaushala and the Gurgaon would become free from stray cattle menace.
