Hyderabad: The Hyderabad based one of the premier educational institutions, Anurag Group of Educations (AGI) to host 4 days, 7th International Conference on Transformations in Engineering Education (ICTIEE) 2020 here in the city at its campus at Venkatapur near Medipally.
It is organized in association with Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE).
It is organized under the aegis of Prof Krishna Vedula founder of IUCEE. He is currently Professor of Chemical Engineering and Dean Emeritus, Francis College of Engineering, University of Massachusetts Lowell.
IUCEE is a brainchild of over 150 leaders of engineering education and businesses from the US and India started in 2007. Its vision is to improve the quality and global relevance of engineering education and research in India with focus on faculty, student curriculum development as well as improved teaching technologies and research, shares Dr Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Founder and Chairman of AGI and MLC and Whip in Govt Telangana.
It will be held on 5th to 8th January 2020 for three days. Fifteen keynote addresses will be held. 1500 Engineering Faculty, Educators, Engineering Education Researchers, Students are expected to participate and deliberate. Some of these include global participants and NRIs. The three-day meet will have ten Concurrent Sessions. 200 papers will be presented during the three-day conference

Mr. KT Rama Rao, Minister for IT; Mrs. Sabita Indira Reddy, Minister for Education, Mr. Malla Reddy, Minister of Labour, Employment, Women and Child Development will grace the inaugural function to be held on 6th January, shared Dr. G. Vishnu Murthy, Conference of Chair ICTIEE 2020.
BVR Mohan Reddy, Former NASSCOM Chairman, and Founder and Chairman of Cyient Ltd; Deepak Gadhia, Chairman, Solar Cooker International; Aditya Bhatnagar, Edutronics Ltd; Dr. Hans J Hoyer, Secretary-General, International Federation of Engineering Education Societies(IFEES), USA; Dr. Ashok Agarwal, Director, Engineers Without Borders India and Dr. Shalini Gopalakrishnan, Middlebury Institute of International Studies will deliver keynote address on the day one of the conference shared Dr. S. Madhu, Conference Co-Chair.
ICTIEE-2020, which is considered as the most promising annual program in Engineering education, comes to Anurag Group of Institutions after being held successfully in Bangalore, Hubli, Noida, Madurai. It is being organized for the third time in the city and the seventh time in India.
Engineering Education experts from some prestigious institutions like PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore; Rajarambapu Institute of Technology; KL Tech University; RV College of Engineering, Bangalore; BMS College of Engineering, Geetam, Sreenidhi, Hitam, Vardhaman and 200 other prestigious Engineering colleges will participate in the conference.
