Global Institute of Islamic Studies is starting classes in various centers of understanding Quran in the city from 4th November.
According to a press note issued by the founder of the Institute, Maulana Adam Sheerazi, an advanced course in Arabic is being started under the supervision of Dr. Abdul Moiz, Head of the Dept of Arabic of Maulana Azad National Urdu University which would be beneficial to those who are proficient in Arabic grammar. Another center is functioning at Saleemnagar colony under the supervision of Ms. Khusheed unissa. Two lady doctors and the students of MBA, MCA and other courses have benefited from this course.
Those centers would inculcate the understanding of Quran.
Special coaching in Islamic faith (Iman); basic character building; life and character of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and his companions, Islamic jurisprudence is provided. There is no fee. The candidates must be able to recite the Quran.
Director of ladies section, Ms. Syeda Kausar Jehan has requested women and girls to seek admission into these centers.
These centers are functioning at Akbar Bagh, New Malakpet, Masab Tank (behind Chacha Nehru Park) for girls.
The centers located at Masab Tank, First Lancer Road, Tolichowki, Akber Bagh and Moghalpura provide Islamic training for men.
