45 passengers were killed in a major fire accident in Nanded-Bangalore express train in Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh during last month.
In another such gruesome incident occurred on October 30, forty-five passengers were charred to death as a private luxury bus burst into flames after its fuel tank caught fire in Mahbubnagar district of Andhra Pradesh.
In the year 2013 police tightened the noose around many political leaders including MIM MLA Akbar Owaisi who faced two cases of making inflammatory speeches, and then walked out of jail after nearly 40 days. On the other side after 16 months in jail, Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, MP and President of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), got bail in the disproportionate assets case.
