An important advisory meeting of women muftis was held at Jamiatul Mominat Moghalpura under the chairpersonship of Dr. Muftia Nazima Aziz Mominati head muftia and Shaikul Fiqqa Jamiatul Mominat. The participants expressed concern over the rising trend of giving divorce through internet, mobile, SMS, Email and telephone. They lamented on the illegal use of modern technology.
They told that divorce in Islam is the most disliked permissible act and three divorces at a time through internet, mobile phone, SMS, Email and telephone is against shariah and Sunnah. This is an act of subjecting Islam to ridicule.
