CPI Telangana secretary Chada Venkat Reddy today demanded that the state government give Rs 5 lakhs to Anganwadi teachers and Rs 3 lakh to its workers on retirement.
In a statement the CPI leader asked Chief Minister K Chadrasekhar Rao to take a call on the issue and help the Anganwadi teachers and workers who are doing their best. The government should keep the promise of helping them by increasing salaries and give the financial benefit at the retirement. He also urged to conduct social audit through government agencies as private agencies causing a problem in the process at the anganwadi centers.(NSS)
