TRS former MP B Vinod Kumar has said the people of the region will not accept any special package except separate Telangana state.
Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan here on Tuesday, Vinod said the packages will not solve the Telangana issue. He demanded that the Centre give speculative special package to the Seemandhra region and announce separate Telangana State immediately. He demanded that the Centre carve out separate State following the aspirations of the Telangana people. He also made it clear that the Telangana people won’t accept any alternative to separate Telangana State.
He reminded that the Telangana region was a rich place before freedom and even now the people of the region were providing high revenue to the State exchequer. He said the TRS was made it clear that the region was a place of rich resources on the day the party has launched. He alleged that the lakhs of people of Telangana region have lost their jobs due to United Andhra rulers. He alleged that the Telangana students also meted out gross injustice in the united Andhra Pradesh.

TRS senior leader T Harish Rao has made it clear that the TRS will not accept any special package. He said the people of the region wanted Telangana including Hyderabad city. He alleged that the Congress party enacted several dramas all these days and now scripted a new drama in the name of special package for the sake of local body elections. He said that efforts were going on from other side to obstruct the creation of separate Telangana state. He also explained that the Congress party was trying to protect its MPs and alleged that both TDP and YSRCP have no clarity on Telangana issue till date. (NSS)
