New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Siddharth Nath Singh on Saturday asked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal why children in the national capital were dying due to dengue.
“Mr.Kejriwal, you need to answer your own minister as to why those unfortunate children had to die because they were not admitted by the Delhi hospital. I hope Arvind Kejriwal answers this. I am sure he is unable to sleep at night because he shirks from his responsibility,” Singh told ANI.
“What the minister of Aam Aadmi Party has said is very unfortunate. He is trying to shift the blame on others, without realising that the responsibility and the accountability is that of the Aam Aadmi Party,” he added.
Singh was responding to Delhi Cabinet Minister Sandeep Kumar’s controversial remark that government doctors don’t have the aukaat (audacity) to refuse patients.
Earlier today, the AAP leader had apologised for his remark. (ANI)
